As an avid traveler and lover of high-end hotels, this property amazed me. The light-filled cottage is beyond charming. From the coffee mugs made by a local potter to the Serena and Lily bath towels, the owners have thought of everything. The bed is otherworldly, a peaceful cocoon. While the owners live right next door in a stunning home, they make you feel like you are in an enclave of seclusion. The lack of television made our getaway more romantic – and, when you want to relax after a day of shopping and dining and amazing wineries, computers easily connect for logging into Netflix. You’ve not lived until you’ve experienced all that is a beautiful breakfast being delivered each morning. The farm fresh eggs and French press coffee are heavenly. I leave this weekend knowing I will be dreaming for days about croissants. Amy and Darren have clearly missed their calling in life, as they could easily be running a five-star hotel. Stop researching and just book it.
